Calafate: Full Day Tour Perito Moreno Glacier
The sun rises once again and after an early breakfast, you will go to the Perito Moreno Glacier. This wonder rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle.
We will start by penetrating the Patagonic Andean forest and make a first breathtaking stop at "Curva de Los Suspiros" (Curve of Sighs), where we will enjoy the first view of this incredible natural wonder. When we approach the glacier, we will walk down the wooden catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. We will be able to contemplate very closely when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and fall into the water with a great thunder becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. El Calafate offers many different activities to keep you entertained. You can discover the treasury for taxidermy and artifacts at Museo de El Calafate or learn about the biodiversity of Patagonia at the bird sanctuary Laguna Nimez Reserve. You can also visit the beautiful Patagonian Estancias (ranches) where you can relax, horse ride, sample some traditional ‘Asado’ (Argentinean BBQ) or simply experience the life of an authentic Patagonian Gaucho (Argentinean cowboy) whilst surrounded by the incredible nature.

Arrive to Iguazú
Early morning you will depart to Iguazú, One of the planet’s most awe-inspiring sights, the Iguazú Falls are simply astounding. You will get inspired by the power and noise of the cascades – a chain of hundreds of waterfalls nearly 3km in extension – live forever in the memory. An added benefit is the setting: the falls lie split between Brazil and Argentina in a large expanse of the national park, much of it rainforest teeming with unique flora and fauna.(B.) Iguazú Falls: Argentina side
Good Morning! You will visit today Iguazú National Park —a total of 55,500 hectares— bears the name of the river serving as the northern border, which means "great waters" in the guaraní language. Surrounded by the lush subtropical rainforest, we will find the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls. Its water volume and more than 275 falls places it among the most important and spectacular waterfalls in the world. On different footbridges, we will visit the heart of the waterfalls, appreciating them from different angles.
We will visit the lower circuit, and feel part of nature, refreshing ourselves with waterfall drizzle. On the upper circuit, we will stop at different viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil"s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: waterfalls down from 80 meters.

This tour will offer the passengers a different way to explore and enjoy nature, very close to the city. On the way north to Tigre, which is about 30 km away from Buenos Aires, and one of the biggest Deltas in the world, you will go through one of the most beautiful accesses downtowns, passing by residential suburban neighborhoods with their calm narrow roads, Yacht clubs, and mansions. Departing from Tigre´s pier, on board of a typical island launch, the green labyrinth of channels and streams will open its doors to let you explore the nature of its islands, enjoying the views of beautiful riverside villas, Victorian docks, English gardens, and traditional rowing and boating clubs. For more than 100 years, the maze of rivers and channels of the Tigre Delta have been a favorite weekend gateway for “Porteños”. This is a visit to a typical “estancia” of the Argentine wet pampas, one of the most fertile natural prairies of the world and famous for its meat and cereal production.
The guest will be received with “empanadas”, “Asado”, good Argentine wines, and will be able to enjoy folkloric songs, dances, and show of Creole.
Enjoy the flavor of our “pampas” at a touristy ranch located 110 km away from downtown Buenos Aires. You will be welcomed with meat pies (typical “empanadas”), a glass of wine or juices by the owners and served an argentine B.B.Q. After lunch, a folkloric Gaucho`s Show will be performed and you will have the possibility of appreciating the typical “Ring Race” (Carrera de Sortijas) or ride on horseback.

This activity is an ideal complement to the Perito Moreno glacier tour. It will allow us to appreciate very closely this wonder of nature. We will sail out of Bajo de las Sombras Bay port, 7 km away from the glacier’s catwalks, down to the southern side of the glacier. On our way, we shall contemplate ice blocks falling off until reaching the southern point of Los Témpanos canal until reaching the standing point 300 m away from the southern wall of the glacier, where we shall stop to admire its greatness.

Departure from El Calafate. Going around the town, the excursion goes into the Estancia 25 de Mayo Natural Reserve, which borders with El Calafate town and the Chilean frontier. The safari schedule includes several stops, which will allow the group to participate in geological interpretations of the area, observe marine fossils and watch guanacos, among other species from the native fauna, and learn about the contemporary rural life. Excellent photo opportunities for landscapes and wildlife. The trip shows the location where the Villaba family, early settlers of the ranch used to live. Then the circuit goes along the flow of the Calafate stream. As the trip goes upwards, you can observe the notorious difference in flora according to the height. Above 1,000 meters high, a strong change takes place. Towards the Chilean border, there is a stunning panoramic view of the Baguales and Centinela mountains, the summits representing the border between Argentina and Chile. Once back in the canyon (“Quebrada”), it is time to taste a country stew, homemade bread, and country cheese at “La sección”, a site where the “baqueanos” used to stop by at the times they were herding cattle in this area. In an almost magical atmosphere, ice blocks floating adrift and impressive landscapes complete this unforgettable experience of full contact with Nature. Sailing out of Puerto Bandera, only 50 km away from El Calafate, a modern and comfortable ship will take us to see the best views of the occidental front of Upsala Glacier, the second-largest glacier in South America, located in Los Glaciares National Park. We will then sail the Cristina Canal to disembark at the ranch bearing the same name. There, we will enjoy a relaxing walk until reaching the Caterina River. Surrounded by an unforgettable beauty, we will visit the old shearing house, now turned into a museum, the Chapel, and the heart of this old Patagonic ranch.

Once onboard we will sail through the North Arm of Lake Argentino until we reach the Upsala Channel, where we will find a spectacular Iceberg Barrier, and if the location of the icebergs allows us, we will be able to get near the glacier`s wall.
Afterward, we will navigate the Spegazzini Channel, where we will observe the Seco Glacier reach the front of the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. Return to Punta Bandera Port. Transfer from Punta Bandera Port to Hotel.

|BRAZILIAN FALLS TOUR
Located on the west end of the Paraná river, the Iguazú Park is a huge tropical rainforest that has been declared a World Heritage Site: it is one of the largest forest reserves in South America. Countless flora and fauna species live in it. We will take an elevator down to the base of the waterfalls and stop right above the river level. From a 1,000-meter footbridge, we will be able to admire the majestic Iguazú Falls or go up an elevator to the Salto Floreano viewpoint.

A tour that combines rainforest and waterfalls. We will drive trucks into the vast wild vegetation joined by experimented guides. We will get off at the pier and board a boat to sail the Iguazú Inferior river canyon, rafting the river rapids to appreciate falls from the San Martín island peaceful backwater. Then we will visit the Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) fall, and Garganta del Diablo (Devil”s Throat) will crown the tour.
